Triangle recognised as Broadcom Pinnacle partner 2025

Triangle has been recognised at the highest tier of the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program for VMware by Broadcom, achieving Pinnacle partner status. This recognition is underpinned by Director of Technology Ian Browne’s recent certification as a Broadcom Knight for VMware Cloud Foundation.

Together, these milestones reflect Triangle’s ongoing investment in VMware by Broadcom and its capability in designing, deploying and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation environments.

What Pinnacle partner status means

Broadcom has streamlined its partner ecosystem into a points based Advantage Partner Program that evaluates partners on both performance and capability, including certifications, services expertise and investment in VMware Cloud Foundation practices.

Within this structure, Pinnacle is the highest programme level that requires extensive technical certifications and a strong track record of delivering VMware based solutions for customers.

Pinnacle partners benefit from closer engagement with Broadcom teams, including roadmap reviews, participation in advisory boards and enablement designed to help partners support customers through the full lifecycle of private cloud adoption with VMware Cloud Foundation.

For Triangle’s clients, this means a deeper alignment with Broadcom’s technology and access to enablement and support that strengthens the design, migration and ongoing optimisation of the VMware Cloud Foundation environments we deliver.

The role of the Broadcom Knight

Alongside Pinnacle status, Triangle’s VMware by Broadcom practice is anchored by Broadcom Knight certification achieved by our Director of Technology Ian Browne.

The Broadcom Knights programme selects individuals from Broadcom’s most capable software partners worldwide who have completed advanced training and certifications and who act as a technical reference point for VMware Cloud Foundation. Knights are recognised by Broadcom as senior partner technologists, with responsibilities that span architecture, implementation, pre-sales and ongoing support.

As a Broadcom Knight for VMware Cloud Foundation, Ian Browne brings that level of field tested expertise directly into our client engagements. For organisations planning or progressing VMware Cloud Foundation adoption, this provides:

  • design input that reflects both Broadcom’s latest guidance and real world delivery experience
  • a stronger bridge between customer environments and Broadcom engineering
  • confidence that cloud architecture is aligned with current best practice for resilience, security and lifecycle operations.

Within the Advantage Partner Program, Knights are also one of the recognised indicators of partner investment in building a specialist services practice around VMware Cloud Foundation.

A continuation of Triangle’s VMware journey

Triangle has a long history with VMware technologies, including being the first Irish company to form a partnership with VMware and being named VMware EMEA Customer Lifecycle Award winner in 2023.

More recently, Triangle has helped clients such as Primark modernise their infrastructure with VMware Cloud Foundation.

Pinnacle status and the Broadcom Knight designation build on this track record. They formalise the investment Triangle has made in VMware Cloud Foundation skills, cross cloud architectures and services that support the full lifecycle of critical workloads, from initial advisory through to managed operations.

What clients can expect

For organisations relying on VMware by Broadcom as a strategic platform, this combination of Pinnacle partnership and Knight level expertise means:

  • informed guidance on navigating the VMware by Broadcom licensing and platform roadmap
  • architecture that aligns VMware Cloud Foundation with hybrid and multi cloud strategies
  • implementation and migration services backed by advanced certifications and close collaboration with Broadcom
  • ongoing support that is grounded in both operational experience and insight from Broadcom’s technical community.

Triangle will continue to invest in our partnership with VMware by Broadcom so that clients can modernise core systems, maintain control over critical workloads and build resilient foundations for future growth.
