Triangle HQ Colm House
With the continuing expansion of our business, we have outgrown our previous office space. We are delighted to announce our move to a larger premises in Ballsbridge. Our new office location will allow us to continue to provide an excellent service to meet our client’s needs and accommodate our growing headcount. This is a testament to our staff, customers and vendors.
Our new address is; Triangle Computer Services, Colm House, 91 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
As part of Triangle Computer Services’ commitment to the IT community, three of our team were recently involved with the Ireland VMware User Group (VMUG).
This year, one of our Senior Consultants; Christian Parker, became one of the leaders of the Ireland VMUG which is supporting the VMware community across Ireland. VMUG is a community of IT professionals that exists to maximize members’ use of VMware and partner solutions through knowledge sharing, training, collaboration and events. The events and meetings throughout the year are attended by a broad range of users, partners and vendors from across Ireland.
Triangle was proud sponsor of the autumn event with a theme around DevOps, containers, automation and all things serverless. We further supported the event with two of our Technical Architects, Padhraic Maguire and Eoin Byrne presenting the ‘real world view’ of vRealize Automation. With a mixture of humour and real take aways, the talk was a great success.

Congratulations to Triangle and Aviva who won the “Private Sector Project of the Year” category at the Tech Excellence Awards 2015 last night. The award was made for the recently completed Aviva Data Centre (DC) project which transformed the IT infrastructure in Aviva’s primary and backup DCs.
Triangle designed and delivered a modern technology platform which gives Aviva Ireland greater capacity and processing power, lower carbon and physical footprint, significantly reduced operational costs and superior agility. It also enhanced the availability of business systems while providing for more rapid and effective disaster recovery.
Winning an Award means more than just the recognition of our peers in the business; it’s an acknowledgement of the innovation, hard work and the value of partnership with our customers.
“Triangle has played a core part in the design, development, build and management of this adventurous project,” says Ian Farnan, TSS Infrastructure Manager at Aviva. “Without their dedication, technical knowledge and expertise, we would not have achieved all we did. We now have the modern, future proofed, agile and flexible data centre that we wanted.”

SERVICES AND CONSULTACY APPROACH IMPRESSES AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL
Triangle Computer Services has been accredited as the first VMware enterprise professional services partner in Ireland having exceeded the standards required to gain this status within the newly launched partner professional services programme (PPSP).
Eligibility for the programme was focused on partners that have demonstrated expertise in selling and delivering software defined data centre solutions.
The PPSP represents the top tier of the VMware partner network, specifically those who can demonstrate expertise in delivering software defined data centre solutions. The designation requires that Triangle meet a series of stringent criteria, proving the company’s ability to lead with a consultancy approach.
The programme recognises and rewards partners who sell and deliver their own consulting services with an emphasis on moving customers to the adoption of the software defined data centre (SDDC).
Phil Croxford, director, alliances channels UK & Ireland, VMware said: “Through their services and consultancy approach, Triangle is winning considerable amounts of Software Defined Datacentre (SDDC) business. Triangle has successfully raised the bar by developing a deep understanding of their customers’ business and goals. They also have a solid understanding of solution selling and its real-world implementation.”
As a professional services programme partner, Triangle will have access to experienced software-defined data centre architects and experts at no cost. In addition to training discounts and access to VMware architects, customer-focused labs will be offered to partners to accelerate time to self-sufficiency. Partners will be empowered with services sales and delivery IP that have been tried and tested to deliver predictable outcomes in customer implementations.
“Triangle was the first VMware partner in Ireland in 2002 and we have grown and trained to become the first PPSP in Ireland”, said Miriam Byrne, Services Director, Triangle.
“We take great pride in helping our customers reach their potential. This recognition from VMware is a fantastic validation that our technical and professional services teams are delivering value for Triangle and recognises the contribution they are making.”
